I loved the jewelry Staishy and I picked these last couple of weeks. They are so simple but wore beautifully! I always think it will be harder to top our picks from the previous weeks, but it keeps getting more exciting and I really start trying to imagine what Staishy will come up with! Staishy chose Nanny's stack rings-they look so pretty on her and I'm sure she gets tons of complements and questions about them. What a neat statement piece and conversation starter! Last week Staishy chose a darker set of blue twister beads and I absolutely love how well it made her outfit! I love the versatility of the beads because they can be for everyday wear or dressy. Doesn't Staishy look beautiful? That is such a Nanny expression she has on her face-it made me smile right back to her when I saw it! My two pieces were not previously some of my absolute favorite pieces, (and I say this loosely because there is not one piece that I don't love!), but they have made it to the top! The pearl/black/gold bead necklace goes with so many more things than I thought they would. They are formal and casual all at the same time! The blonde wood beads I chose for this past week were so much fun to wear. They just feel so rich considering they are wood. I might as well have been wearing pearls! I paired it with a simple gold chain of mine because I thought they just looked so pretty together- one delicate and metal and the other heavy and earthy, but both simple on their own until put together. I highly recommend the mixing. Staishy, I'm sure, also finds herself planning her entire outfit around her jewelry! Who knew we could be so stylish?

I certainly had no idea I could be so stylish. This has really encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone a bit with the jewelry and it has been so fun. Nanny has encouraged me to be much for adventurous than I would otherwise be and I am so glad. Plus, wearing her jewelry makes me feel close to her and makes me slightly less sad that she isn't here to play with us.
ReplyDeleteYou are gorgeous! Love the selections (as always) and the photos you have taken. This challenge makes me want to shop so I have a few more clothing options to pair with this great jewelry. But maybe this is just a thinly veiled excuse. :)
And I never thought about mixing the necklaces like that - great idea. You are so clever.
